Copyright & Content Ownership Policy

Last Updated: September 23, 2026

Strategic Cardinal Marketing puts a lot of thought, strategy, creativity, and probably a little too much coffee into the content we create.

This Copyright Policy explains how the original content, branding, resources, and creative materials found on our website may and may not be used.

In Simple Terms

We're happy you're here. We're even happier if something we created teaches you something, gives you an idea, or helps you think differently about your marketing.

You're welcome to read it, learn from it, share links to it, and use the ideas to inspire your own work.

What you can't do is copy our work, remove our name from it, sell it, redistribute it, or present it as your own.

Inspiration is great. Copy and paste is not.

1. Ownership of Website Content

Unless otherwise stated, original content created by Strategic Cardinal Marketing and published on this website is owned by Strategic Cardinal Marketing and is protected by applicable United States copyright and intellectual property laws.

This may include:

  • Website copy and written content

  • Blog posts and educational resources

  • Graphics and original design elements

  • Branding and brand materials

  • Logos and original visual assets

  • Photographs and videos owned by Strategic Cardinal Marketing

  • Guides, worksheets, presentations, templates, and downloads

  • Marketing frameworks, processes, and original educational materials to the extent protected by applicable law

  • Course, workshop, or presentation materials

  • Email and marketing content

  • Other original creative works published by Strategic Cardinal Marketing

The presence of content on a publicly accessible website does not place that content in the public domain.

2. What You May Do

You're welcome to:

  • Read and enjoy our content

  • Share links to our website or individual pages

  • Reference short portions of our content when appropriate and with clear attribution

  • Share our publicly available content through social media using the website's sharing features

  • Use our educational content to inform your own marketing decisions

When referencing Strategic Cardinal Marketing's original content, please provide appropriate credit and, when possible, link back to the original page.

3. What You May Not Do

Without prior written permission from Strategic Cardinal Marketing, you may not:

  • Copy substantial portions of our website content

  • Republish blog posts or resources as your own

  • Reproduce our website copy on another website

  • Remove our branding or attribution from our materials

  • Sell, license, or redistribute our original resources

  • Copy or reproduce our graphics or designs for commercial use

  • Present our original materials as your own work

  • Create unauthorized copies of paid or protected resources

  • Use our content to falsely suggest an affiliation, partnership, or endorsement

  • Use our intellectual property in a misleading or unlawful manner

Changing a few words, colors, graphics, or design elements does not automatically make copied work original.

4. Strategic Cardinal Marketing Branding

The Strategic Cardinal Marketing name, logo, visual identity, and other distinctive brand elements may be protected by trademark, copyright, or other applicable intellectual property laws.

Our branding may not be used in a way that suggests Strategic Cardinal Marketing endorses, sponsors, partners with, or is affiliated with another business, product, service, or organization without permission.

5. Client Work

Strategic Cardinal Marketing may display examples of client work, portfolio projects, testimonials, case studies, or other collaborative work when we have permission or the appropriate rights to do so.

Ownership and usage rights related to work created for clients are governed by the applicable client agreement.

Nothing in this Copyright Policy changes intellectual property rights established in an individual client contract or agreement.

6. Third-Party Content

Not everything appearing on our website is necessarily owned by Strategic Cardinal Marketing.

Certain photographs, fonts, software, embedded content, platform features, icons, trademarks, or other materials may belong to third parties and may be used under a license, permission, subscription, or other authorized arrangement.

Third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.

Our Copyright Policy does not grant you permission to use intellectual property belonging to someone else.

7. Downloads, Templates and Free Resources

From time to time, Strategic Cardinal Marketing may provide downloadable resources, templates, guides, checklists, worksheets, or other materials.

Unless the resource specifically states otherwise, these materials are provided for your personal or internal business use.

You may not resell, redistribute, reproduce, sublicense, publish, or package these materials as your own product or service without written permission.

Basically, if we made something to help your business, use it to help your business. Just don't turn around and sell our work as yours.

8. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Use

Unless expressly permitted in writing, Strategic Cardinal Marketing's original website content, proprietary resources, downloadable materials, branding, and other protected creative works may not be systematically scraped, copied, reproduced, republished, or compiled for the purpose of creating a competing commercial product, content library, dataset, or service.

Nothing in this section is intended to restrict uses permitted by applicable law.

9. Copyright Concerns

We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect the same in return.

If you believe content appearing on the Strategic Cardinal Marketing website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact us with enough information for us to identify and review the material in question.

Please include:

  • Your name and contact information

  • Identification of the copyrighted work

  • Identification or location of the material in question

  • An explanation of your concern

  • Any information that may help us evaluate the request

We will review legitimate concerns and take appropriate action when necessary.

10. Permission Requests

Want to use something we've created beyond the uses permitted above?

Ask us.

We're happy to consider requests to reproduce, feature, teach from, distribute, or otherwise use Strategic Cardinal Marketing content.

Permission must be provided in writing before the material is used.
